The Viking Tempo Fisherman xs single
kayak, and the Tempo Fisherman
II double kayak, answer the
long awaited call for stable, roomy fishing and expedition
kayaks. Both models feature comfortable moulded seats, backrest
and large front and rear wells for fish and gear. These kayaks are
super stable, and have been designed to be
powered by an electric motor. Paddle or motor, you will enjoy many
happy hours in your Tempo kayak – whether you are fishing, diving,
free diving or on expedition.

Sea Trials
We have extensively trialed the Tempo Fisherman kayak with a
payload of 150kgs including passenger, battery, motor and gear
etc. Using the 28lb thrust Minn Kota Classic we have
consistently motored at 5+ knots for over 8 hours with a 115
amp/hour standard lead acid battery. Gel type batteries have
also been trialed which give a longer life but are more
expensive. These times will vary under sea and current
conditions.Standard Kayak
The Tempo Fisherman paddles extremely well with or without
motor. Its huge payload capacity is ideal for extended
expeditions. A rudder option is available. The
design of the hull is particularly good surfing into a beach
without the fear of roll over.
