Viking Kayaks & Skis
Advantages offered by all our Kayak models

Safety and Stability
Great stability in all conditions from smooth water to surf means Viking kayaks do not tip readily and are easy to get in and out of even in deep water. A grabline edging the rim provides a handhold, as do bow and stern handles. Deeply contoured, moulded seating gives a wrap-around feel but does not cover or restrain any part of the body. No risk of getting trapped upside down, so no need to learn the eskimo roll.  Self-bailing outlets drain water from the cock-pit. A choice of vibrant colours provides high visibility.

Versatility and Comfort
Viking kayaks are equally at home in sea, river, lakes and streams. The open-top design allows complete freedom of movement and suits most body shapes and sizes. All models are roomy enough for young children (or perhaps the family dog) to accompany adult paddlers. Scupper holes are positioned away from seating areas to help keep the seat dry in calm water.

Strength and Speed
The seamless polyethylene construction of Vikings kayaks is much stronger than fibreglass. It handles everyday knocks effortlessly and is UV stabilised. Underwater contours achieve excellent stability to speed ratio and ensures the kayaks track well with no need for a rudder.

Load Capacity and Lightness
With equipment securing points and hatches to under-deck storage, Viking kayaks are ideal for camping trips, picnics or for carrying gear to favourite fishing and diving sites. All models are designed to be lightweight and can easily be transported on the roof of a car.
