I have just recently purchased the
Tempo Fisherman 1, after having had quite an extensive look at
what type of kayaks were available on the market. I must say that I am very happy with my new
craft. This kayak is very stable in the water and there is lots
of room for all my fishing gear and more. It's easy to steer and
it's just a really well designed kayak. I have had three outings
so far, and returned from my last one with a good catch of
flathead and whiting. I would say my rock fishing days are
probably over. I would not hesitate to recommend this kayak to
anyone.

Been paddling my Tempo
Fisherman for over a year and can't say enough good things about
the quality, versatility and sheer pleasure it brings me. I get
into some magic places, set crab pots in mangroves where tinnies
can't go and enjoy peace and tranquility not available to other
watercraft. I have a bad back but after buying a gel seat, I
find I am well supported in the lumbar region and the exercise
has fixed up my core muscles really well. Backup, service and
advice from my Chermside dealer is first class. Only one
problem- my fault of course - these kayaks are otherwise
bullet-proof, but don't drag yours for miles over a hard surface
like I did! I think a protective skeg or sacrificial metal strip
under the stern would protect this vulnerable part from wearing
through if you do need to haul the 'yak across boardwalks,
concrete etc. Last and probably least, these are the best
looking 'yaks on the market and they draw crowds on the beach!

I've had my Espirt for
about a year now and loving every minute of it. Only problem is
finding enough time to go for a paddle. Mainly paddling the
edges of Moreton Bay and nearby creeks. No fish yet but I'll
keep trying. Worth every penny I spent on the kayak and the Kwik
Rack.

Early
days yet having only been on the water twice with the Tempo 2 Fisherman,
buts it's been great so far. We are very happy with the look, stability,
ease of paddling and storage areas. Many people have commented, being
impressed with our new craft. Anyway we love it so far. It's the perfect
vehicle to explore our local Currumbin Inlet.

I operate a sea kayak hire business (Kayak Malta) at Paradise
Bay in Malta in the Mediterranean and have a fleet of 6 Tango and 8
Stingray models. These have been a huge success especially with the
underwater viewing panels adding that extra tourist attraction bonus.
They have proved a real hit with the tourists and locals that have used
them with many return hires. I also have my own Espri which I enjoy and
paddle daily. I have found it great in smooth and not so smooth
conditions. I can recommend Viking Kayaks, paddles, seats and other
products as they meet all the demands required of them. I can also
recommend dealing with the company from a commercial point of view as
they were only to willing to assist me in every possible way.

I
just bought the predator and nearly every long week end I take a trip to
St B island which is about 9 km from the coast. I am an experienced
paddler and needed a fast and stable canoe. One of the most successful
trips was when I packed clothes and a swag and stayed the night which
the predator had space for except I got in some excellent snags and
caught 10 too many fish thanks to Viking I got where no boat ever has.

"I have just purchased the Tempo
Fisherman II. My wife & I enjoyed our first outing with it. We have found it to be an easy
& comfortable experience. The optional electric motor came in handing when negotiating the extreme headwinds when we faced our first launch. We can't wait for our next trip & some serious fishing. Thank you Viking
for designing such a great craft."

"I
had a top time in the Viking Tempo Fisherman chasing sooty grunter and
scoring some absolute snodgers. The kayak certainly made flick striking
very easy. If anyone has questions of how to use this rig just contact

Awsome

"Last
year I purchased a Tempo Fisherman from you which I use off the rugged
Taranaki coast. I fish with 2 friends that use standard Tempo's. I'm
just writing to say how impressed I am with my craft and to say thanx
for enabling me to enjoy the sport so much. I tested almost every brand
& make of kayak available before I bought the Fisherman so I feel
qualified in saying its the best in NZ. I find that even though its wide
and very stable, I'm often waiting for the others to catch up because
its speed is still very good. We all manage to fill our sacks in no time
with my biggest Snapper to date being 16lb. A month ago the offshore
wind got up and blew us about 3kms out before we had a chance to batten
down the hatchs and head in. It was scary because if I stopped paddling
I went backwards. It took an hour of hard paddling to get in and all the
way I was thanking God that I spent the extra money and got the
Fisherman. So thanx again and keep up the good work."

"I
have had an Espri since October 2002. It has been a great kayak
for the flat, and I have been able to have some good fun in the rough
stuff.
I
have used it in rapids, on flat water, swell up to about a metre and in
surf coming over reef and sand bars that probably was not contemplated
when the Espri was designed.
It
tracks really well and effortlessly through the water, which is pretty
important for those of us who usually do nothing more exhausting that
push a pen.
I
have found it to be a good all rounder that is pretty forgiving of a few
impacts, and it is light enough that it hasn't hurt me when things get
messy (as they can do when having fun).
A
final point, it is quiet and light on the roof of the car. Even
the biggest road trains coming the other way don't seem to cause it any
trouble on the roof."

"I purchased
my Viking 'Tempo' in November 2003 on the recommendation of a very close
friend of mine who is heavily involved in the fishing industry. I am
certainly glad that I took his advice because my Tempo has been a
fantastic craft for an estuary fishing fanatic like myself. I take my
Tempo out roughly every two weeks and enjoy being out on the water in
such a comfortable and stable craft, it really makes kayaking a
pleasure. Easy to carry, easy to launch, and great value for money, I
don't think you can ask for to much more, Viking you have a real winner
here."
