Trip report from sales manager Jason - First Longtail Tuna from the kayak – After many hours on the water last season trying to land a Northern Bluefin (Longtail Tuna) with no success I finally landed one this season. Thanks to a culmination of those hours on the water and advice from other Sunshine Coast anglers my first attempt this season ended up with a 9kg Longtail on the line.

Here’s the report, full video below also.

Maroochydore was boiling with Tuna so even though it was blowing 15knots… more

Raymarine Dragonfly Pro sounders have a new transducer with the cable emerging from the front. This increases length significantly but our standard mounting kit allows it to fit the Profish Reload and GT. The secret: don't lock the Raymarine sliding mount fully forward. Allowing the transducer to slide on its mount lets it locate in the socket in the Tackle Pod, the tight fit ensures it doesn't move in use. Read on for more instruction

He's been trying for about 2 years and finally this Easter weekend Jason Clendon from Northland NZ proved he could land that 20lb snapper from his 2.7m Viking Ozzie kayak. It certainly helps that Jason is a very competent kayak angler and he lives in one of the best snapper fisheries here in NZ but that said this is a massive achievement. Here’s the trip report form Jason

Some great feedback from Andrew or North QLD
Hey guys,

Over all love the kayak one year on, great in the river and equally as good in the salt, does everything i need it to and feeling comfortable every time!

The question of which rudder blade concept is better: the short Angler style or the longer KS system has created plenty of discussion. Unfortunately there's often more to this simple seeming question than many posing the questions or offering answers realize.

Here are a series of bullet points based on test paddling over the years that will hopefully help:

1. The Profish Reload has been designed with a full length keel strip and a swept back stern to assist with tracking, making the kayak comparatively… more
